At 72U we got the opportunity to collaborate with NOTLABS. They challenged us to “engage with people and make them smile” through an object that could: 1. Be easily shipped around the world. 2. Had under 5 steps to activate and 3. Cost less than $50 to make.

With the help of my partner, we created the “K-Scope,” a kaleidoscope for your phone. It’s made out of 4 MDF cutouts, 3 mirrors, and two 3D-printed caps. It’s easy to assemble and once you do, any and all boring Instagram posts will turn super duper trippy, man.

NOTCOT article about the project.
